The Pyrex® glass pie dish is an essential tool for successfully creating all your sweet or savoury pies or shallow cakes. Pyrex® borosilicate glass has built an excellent reputation since 1922 thanks to its unrivalled durability, resisting extreme temperatures from -40°C to +300°C , as well as thermal shocks of up to 220°C. It is also recognised for its quality, highly resistant to scratches, and does not retain stains or odours. It is of course healthy and BPA-free.

TIPS AND BENEFITS

The benefits of Pyrex® borosilicate glass are exceptional. It resists extreme temperatures from -40°C to +300°C. It is highly resistant to thermal shocks of up to 220°C (EN 1183): it can be moved from a freezer at -20°C into an oven at 20°C. Hygienic BPA-free material does not retain stains or odours. Scratch-resistant

Wash before first use. Avoid abrasive cleaning products. Washing dishes under abnormal conditions, such as high water temperature and high detergent dosage, may damage the glass. In the event of burnt-on or stuck-on food, we recommend soaking the cooled dish in soap and water.

Never use directly on a heat source such as a gas burner, electric hob, ceramic hob or grill.

During cooking and baking, it is better to use gentle cooking utensils made of wood, silicone or melamine. This prevents unnecessary scratching and extends the product's service life.

When handling hot baking dishes, we recommend using oven gloves , which protect your hands from high temperatures.
