BOLSIUS red filling for cemetery lanterns, 50 hours

Product detailed description

The quality filling for Bolsius cemetery lanterns is intended for dignified, long-term lighting of grave sites throughout the year. With a burning time of up to 50 hours it provides reliable light for several days and helps create a calm and memorial atmosphere when remembering loved ones. The filling is unscented , so it does not disturb the surrounding environment with any fragrance and is suitable for use at all memorial sites.

Unlike traditional wax candles, it uses an oil filling that burns evenly , without excessive smoking or black deposits. It therefore does not dirty the glass walls of the lantern or its surroundings and maintains a clean, neat appearance throughout use. The filling is placed in a practical plastic container , which helps prevent the contents from spilling and also facilitates handling during replacement.

The size of the filling is designed to fit most commonly used cemetery lanterns. Replacement is quick and simple, so there is no need to purchase a new lantern during every cemetery visit. Simply insert a new filling and reuse the original casing

Tips and advice

Before inserting a new filling, we recommend checking that the lantern is clean and removing any remains of the previous insert. A correctly seated filling helps ensure safe and even burning for the entire stated period.

To achieve the longest possible burning time, we recommend using the filling in closed or protected lanterns, which provide better resistance to wind and adverse weather. The flame is then more stable and the wax is consumed more evenly.

The filling is suitable for year-round use, whether during All Souls’ Day, significant anniversaries or regular visits to cemeteries and memorial sites.

Before lighting, we recommend checking the wick length and trimming it slightly if necessary. Take extra care when handling the candle and do not leave it burning unattended near flammable materials.

For a complete memorial arrangement, you can complement this candle with other products from our range. In the category cemetery candles you will find various sizes, colours and versions with longer burning times. If you are looking for a more decorative design, also see rustic candles , which are suitable not only for cemeteries but also for interiors. For smaller lanterns or to complement an arrangement, tea lights, which create gentle additional light, are suitable. The atmosphere of a memorial site can also be enhanced by carefully selected decorations , or practical LED lighting , which provides light without an open flame.
