Advice and tips

Use the napkins not only for Christmas Eve dinner , but also for Advent breakfasts, sitting down over coffee, tea or mulled wine, visits from friends or serving homemade biscuits. Especially at smaller Advent gatherings, a beautiful seasonal napkin can create a Christmas atmosphere practically without any additional decoration.

For a coordinated table, combine the napkins with SKIERS placemats and simple, single-colour tableware. This allows the motif to stand out nicely without making the table look cluttered. Simply add a candle, a conifer branch or several small decorations to the centre.

The napkins can also be used when serving biscuits, gingerbread, sandwiches and canapés. Place them in a bread basket or under small dry refreshments; the practical item will also become part of the decoration.

If you are preparing a Christmas visit for children, the SKIERS motif is also suitable for a more cheerful, less formal Christmas meal – for example, an afternoon with biscuits, cocoa and fairy tales.

If you like the cheerful winter motif, be sure to explore the entire SKIERS collection. The napkins can be matched with placemats, a glass mug, a thermos, a flip-top bottle, a kitchen towel, an oven mitt and a pot holder. The unified motif can accompany the entire Christmas season – from baking in the kitchen through morning tea to a festively set table. If SKIERS is not the only design that has caught your attention, also explore other original Christmas collections and choose the motif that best suits your home.

For preparing an Advent gathering or Christmas Eve table, see the Christmas serving category, where you will find trays, platters and other accessories for biscuits, sandwiches, canapés and festive treats. Alongside napkins , you will also find related placemats , which can quickly change the appearance of the dining table while also protecting its surface. For a winter gathering, choose suitable mugs for tea, coffee, cocoa, punch or mulled wine.

The atmosphere around the table can be completed with Christmas decorations and, of course, candles , whose light belongs to Advent and winter evenings just as much as the scent of biscuits. And that leads to the final stop – in the Christmas baking category, you can choose moulds, cookie cutters and other practical helpers for preparing gingerbread, Linzer cookies, crescent cookies and other treats, which then only need to be served, accompanied by SKIERS napkins, and enjoyed with the family at the table.
