AMELIA deep plate 22 cm opal glass

Product detailed description

Soup, pasta, creamy risotto or a favourite dish with sauce – the AMELIA deep plate is ready for everyday dining from lunch through dinner. With a diameter of 22 cm the plate features a clean white design complemented by a subtle rose floral motif, giving it a delicate and elegant appearance. The practical deep shape is ideal for broths, vegetable and legume soups, goulash soups and thick creams , but its use certainly does not end with soup. It is also excellent for pasta, risotto, gnocchi, dishes with sauce or salads , making it a versatile part of everyday dinnerware.

The plate is made of lightweight and durable opal glass , offering practical properties for everyday family use. Compared with standard ceramics and conventional glass, it stands out with increased resistance during everyday use while remaining pleasantly light and easy to handle. The smooth non-porous surface is hygienic, easy to maintain and does not absorb odours or flavours from served food. The plate is suitable for the dishwasher and can also be used in a microwave oven , so cooled food can be conveniently reheated directly on the plate.

The subtle floral motif does not overpower the served food, while the white base lets its colours stand out nicely. The AMELIA deep plate therefore has its place in everyday family dining , but can also be used without difficulty for a more formal table setting.

Tips and advice

A deep plate does not have to wait only for Sunday broth. Try it for spaghetti and other pasta with sauce, creamy risotto, gnocchi, Asian noodles or a larger vegetable salad. The raised edges help keep sauce and other ingredients where they belong.

When serving soups, make use of the plate’s white base – colourful pumpkin or tomato cream soup, green herbs or fresh vegetables will stand out nicely against it. With simple garnishing, even an ordinary homemade lunch can be served more attractively.

Thanks to its suitability for use in a microwave oven , a portion can be conveniently reheated directly on the plate when needed. After the meal, simply use the dishwasher , so opal glass also fits well into a household where tableware is used several times a day.

For a coordinated table setting, complement the deep plate with other AMELIA plates from the same collection and create your own dinnerware set with exactly as many pieces as your household actually needs.

If you like the lightness, practicality and elegant appearance of this tableware, also take a look at other opal-glass plates. Choose dinner, deep or dessert plates and combine different sizes and designs according to your needs. An even wider selection can be found in the complete range of plates , where you can choose from different materials, shapes, colours and sizes for everyday family dining and more formal occasions.

The right drinkware also belongs on a nicely set table. In the glasses category, you will find glasses for water, lemonade, wine and other popular drinks, while mugs complement breakfast and afternoon dining with coffee, tea or cocoa. You can easily change the overall appearance of the table with table mats , which also help protect its surface and create an attractive base for plates, glasses and cutlery.

At a family lunch, when welcoming guests or during a celebration, products for serving will also come in handy – bowls, trays and other tableware for bringing main courses, side dishes, salads, fruit, desserts and small refreshments to the table. Finally, choose suitable cutlery , which will complete the entire dinnerware set both practically and visually. You can easily create a table setting to suit your taste, from the plate to the last teaspoon. 🍽️
