Premium PYREX Infinity 20 cm stainless steel saucepan combines the excellent properties of quality stainless-steel cookware with a smart system of removable handles. It is made of high-quality 18/10 stainless steel , which is exceptionally durable and hygienic and, thanks to its PFAS-free design without a conventional non-stick coating represents an excellent choice for healthy everyday cooking. The saucepan heats up quickly and distributes heat evenly, giving you good control over food preparation – it is perfect for sauces, soups, porridge, side dishes, reheating smaller portions, melting chocolate and everyday cooking for one or two people. Thanks to its well-designed construction, the saucepan responds quickly to temperature changes and ensures even heat distribution across the entire base. The result is more precise cooking without scorching and better control over every stage of preparation. Ideal for sauces, soups, porridge, pasta or reheating smaller portions.
A major advantage is compatibility with the PYREX Infinity removable handle , which you simply attach only when needed. Once removed, you can move the saucepan directly from the hob to the oven up to 260°C , serve conveniently at the table or store it efficiently in a kitchen cabinet. Cookware without fixed long handles can also be nested more easily, so the entire Infinity system saves valuable space. The elegant brushed stainless-steel surface gives the saucepan a premium appearance while also helping reduce the visibility of ordinary smudges and fingerprints. The saucepan is suitable for induction, gas, electric, ceramic-glass and halogen hobs.

Advice and tips
The stainless-steel saucepan is ideal for everyday cooking, where you will appreciate precise temperature control and a quick response to changes in heat output. It is perfect for preparing sauces , soups, side dishes or smaller portions of food. Thanks to even heat distribution, dishes are less likely to scorch and retain their natural flavour and texture.
For maximum effect, we recommend cooking at medium heat – stainless steel heats up quickly and retains heat well, so there is no need to use the highest setting. With proper use, you can also achieve a partially non-stick effect without special coatings.
You will appreciate the smaller 20 cm stainless-steel saucepan for everyday tasks for which a large pot is unnecessary. It is excellent for preparing sauces, puddings and porridge, heating milk, melting butter or chocolate, or preparing smaller portions of side dishes. Thanks to the removable handle, it can also be used for recipes that you start on the hob and finish in the oven.
Before cooking, always check that the handle is correctly fitted and securely locked. Always place the saucepan in the oven without the handle. When cooking, use a burner corresponding to the size of the base and do not unnecessarily overheat the empty saucepan. The manufacturer recommends using only low heat when heating the vessel without liquid.
Wash the saucepan thoroughly before first use. To preserve the attractive appearance of the stainless steel, avoid abrasive and chlorine-based cleaning products. Any whitish mineral stains can be removed with a cloth moistened with vinegar, and burnt-on residue should be soaked in water before cleaning.
Stainless steel is highly durable and retains its attractive appearance for a long time when used correctly. In case of heavier soiling or burnt-on food, we recommend pouring water into the vessel, adding a little baking soda or vinegar and briefly heating the mixture. The dirt will then loosen much more easily and the stainless-steel surface will remain clean without aggressive scrubbing.
The brand Pyrex® was founded in 1915 in the USA, when Bessie and Jessie Littleton, with the help of NONEX glass from Corning, laid the foundations for the first exceptionally durable glass baking dish. A few years later, the Pyrex story moved to Europe: from 1922 borosilicate glass began to be produced in France and in 1970 main production moved to the plant in Châteauroux , where Pyrex has been formed, pressed and produced to this day — this is where a huge furnace covering almost 100 m² stands and processes over 150 tonnes of raw materials daily. Pyrex can therefore rightly rely on the designation Made in France and the quality associated with it
Thanks to continuous innovation, Pyrex glass products today withstand extreme temperatures from –40 °C to +350 °C and thermal shocks of up to 240 °C (EN 1183). The brand has also expanded beyond its iconic glass — since 2004, it has included metal and ceramic cookware, frying pans and saucepans. At its core, however, the essentials remain: durable, hygienic and taste-neutral materials that make cooking and serving easier across generations.
