BOLSIUS Cemetery Lantern, 22 cm, Magnolia

Product detailed description

The Bolsius Magnolia lantern is a delicate gesture combining the beauty of the magnolia flower with the quiet respect of remembrance. Its glass body lets the flame shine with a soft light, while the magnolia decoration symbolises hope, peace and the eternal cycle of life. The glass body allows the flame to stand out fully, while the base and cylindrical shape provide stability even in windy conditions. The securely attached plastic lid protects the flame from wind and rain , so the lantern burns safely for the entire period – up to 36 hours. After the filling has burned out, a new filling can easily be inserted, allowing the lantern to be used repeatedly for many years. The quality of the Bolsius brand guarantees clean burning, stability and careful workmanship, making the lantern more than just a candle – it is a gesture of remembrance and gratitude.

Advice and tips

Place the lantern on a level, stable surface – it is ideal for a cemetery or memorial site, but also for a garden or entrance, where it creates an atmosphere of peace and hope. After the candle has burned out and cooled, you can easily clean out the wax residue and insert a new filling – it takes only a moment for the lantern to shine again. The glass surface can be wiped with a soft cloth to preserve its natural shine.
Although it is ideal for the All Souls’ period , it looks beautiful all year round – as a luminous reminder of loved ones or as a subtle decoration that brings warmth, silence and humility to the space.

Lanterns pair beautifully with delicate tealights , suitable for shorter lighting or as supplementary light during evening contemplation. If you prefer longer burning, choose tall pillar candles , which are also ideal as replacement fillings for these lanterns – their stable flame creates an impressive atmosphere and reliably lasts for many hours. For arranging flowers and All Souls’ decorations, we recommend vases in subdued tones that match the lanterns and enhance the overall impression. You can complete the memorial or seasonal decoration with accessories from our range of decorations – from small candle holders to natural ornaments. If you want to create a harmonious corner of peace at home, try complementing the lanterns with scented candles or aroma lamps , which create pleasant silence and the warmth of home in the early evening.
