Pyrex® borosilicate glass has been building an excellent reputation since 1922 thanks to its unmatched durability, which withstands extreme temperatures from -40°C to +300°C, as well as thermal shock up to 220°C. The benefits of Pyrex® borosilicate glass are exceptional. It withstands extreme temperatures from -40°C to +300°C. It is highly resistant to thermal shock up to 220°C (EN 1183): it can be transferred from a freezer at -20°C to an oven at 20°C. This hygienic BPA-free material does not retain stains or odors. Scratch-resistant

Wash before first use. Avoid abrasive cleaning agents. Washing dishes under abnormal conditions, such as high water temperatures or excessive detergent, can damage the glass. If food is burnt or stuck to the dish, we recommend soaking it in soapy water after it has cooled.

Never use directly on heat sources such as gas burners, electric stovetops, glass-ceramic cooktops, or grills.

When cooking and baking, it is better to use gentle cooking utensils made of wood, silicone, or melamine. This will prevent unnecessary scratches and extend the lifespan.

The  Pyrex® was founded in 1915 in the U.S., when Bessie and Jessie Littleton, using NONEX glass from Corning, laid the foundation for the first exceptionally durable glass baking dish. A few years later, the Pyrex story spread to Europe: Starting in 1922 borosilicate glass began to be manufactured in France, and in 1970 the main production was moved to the plant in Châteauroux, where Pyrex is still shaped, pressed, and manufactured today—it is here that a giant furnace with an area of nearly 100 m² stands, processing over 150 metric tons of raw materials daily. Pyrex thus rightfully relies on the label Made in France and the quality associated with it
