Tips and advice

To quickly transform an ordinary dining table into a Christmas table , you do not need many decorations. Combine the SKIERS placemat with plain-coloured tableware, glasses and a few small Christmas elements. The cheerful motif will become the main decoration and the table will not look overcrowded.

For an Advent breakfast or afternoon gathering , combine the placemat with a mug from the same collection, add a teapot, a plate of homemade biscuits and a candle. A simple way to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere even during an ordinary weekday.

For more festive dining, use the same placemat for each family member and complement it with Christmas napkins, candles or a small decoration in the centre of the table. The repeated motif will help give the entire table setting a unified appearance.

And after the meal? Simply wipe the practical placemat with a damp cloth , leave it to dry and it is ready for the next breakfast, dinner or Christmas visit.

The cheerful winter motif does not have to remain only on the dining table. Explore the entire SKIERS collection , in which you can coordinate the placemat with mugs, a thermos, a glass bottle, a kitchen tea towel, an oven glove and other accessories. The unified motif beautifully connects Christmas dining, the kitchen and small decorations , and individual products can also be combined into original gift sets. If you like similarly imaginative motifs, you can also find inspiration among other original Christmas collections , thanks to which this year's decorations do not have to be only in traditional red and gold.

When preparing the Christmas Eve table or an Advent gathering, continue in the Christmas serving section, where you will find trays, platters and other accessories for serving biscuits, canapés and other festive treats. The placemats also deserve special attention, as they can easily change the appearance of the entire table while protecting its surface during everyday dining. And because long winter evenings call for something warming, also take a look at mugs for tea, coffee, cocoa, homemade punch or mulled wine.

The Christmas table is, of course, not only about tableware. Christmas decorations can complete the area around it, windowsills, shelves and other places in the home, while candles add warm light and a pleasant atmosphere to evening dining. And what would Christmas be without something delicious? In the Christmas baking category, you will find moulds, cookie cutters and other helpers for preparing gingerbread, Linzer biscuits, crescents and other types of homemade biscuits, which you can then serve directly on your newly set Christmas table.
