Product detailed description

The large TORO Christmas serving tray with a gingerbread design is ideal for moments when the table is filled with cookies and the whole family gathers at home. The spacious tray, measuring 40 × 27 cm offers enough space for several types of Christmas cookies, gingerbread, Linzer cookies, vanilla crescents, sliced Christmas bread or stollen, as well as open-faced sandwiches, canapés and other sweet or savoury refreshments. Two Christmas loaves or two homemade strudels can easily fit side by side on the tray. The lightweight and practical melamine tray is easy to carry and, thanks to its raised edge, is easy to grip , which you will appreciate when carrying a full tray from the kitchen straight to the festive table. The cheerful gingerbread Christmas design beautifully enhances the Advent atmosphere and turns ordinary serving into part of the Christmas decorations. You can use the tray throughout Advent for family gatherings, visits from friends or with coffee or tea, and thanks to its larger surface it is also ideal for Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve refreshments. When Christmas is over, it can continue to serve as a practical tray for desserts, fruit, open-faced sandwiches and other treats during everyday serving at home.

Advice and tips

The large tray surface allows you to prepare a Christmas mix of several types of cookies. You can arrange gingerbread or larger pieces in the centre and place Linzer cookies, crescents, bear paws and other small cookies around them. Sliced Christmas bread or stollen, or a larger quantity of open-faced sandwiches and canapés for guests, will fit equally well on it.

For truly coordinated Christmas tableware, you can combine the tray with other products with the same design. The collection includes mugs, thermos flasks, kitchen textiles and napkins, for example, allowing one favourite Christmas design to be easily coordinated throughout the kitchen and festive table. Such a collection can also provide inspiration for a small Christmas gift – for example, a mug complemented by textiles or a thermal bottle in the same design.

Outside the Christmas season, the melamine tray can also be used for everyday serving of desserts, pastries, fruit, open-faced sandwiches and small refreshments at family celebrations or visits.

Do you like the original festive design? Explore the entire original gingerbread Christmas collection and coordinate the serving tray with other products in the same design. You can find other shapes, sizes and Christmas designs among serving trays and platters , with which you can easily prepare refreshments for family and guests.

The right festive atmosphere can also be created with Christmas decorations and scented candles , which add pleasant light and Christmas magic to the set table and the whole home. And because a tray filled with treats looks best, take inspiration from our range of Christmas baking and tools for baking Christmas cookies – from cookie cutters and moulds to other equipment for preparing Linzer cookies, gingerbread, crescents and other traditional treats.

When setting the festive table, do not forget Christmas napkins , which practically complement the serving of cookies, Christmas bread, open-faced sandwiches and other festive refreshments and help complete the Christmas table down to the last detail.
