KITCHISIMO Bianco saucepan with lid 20 cm, non-stick surface

Product detailed description

The Kitchisimo Bianco 20 cm saucepan with glass lid is solid, robust cookware for everyday cooking, stewing and gently simmering sauces. The body made of strong thick-walled aluminium does not warp at high temperatures and distributes heat excellently across the entire base, so food cooks evenly without burning. Inside is a highly durable beige ceramic non-stick surface with a stoneware appearance, where small black dots resemble the structure of granite – an attractive design and reliable healthy cooking with minimal fat in one. The light cream shade with delicate ribbing around the perimeter looks elegant and natural, allowing the saucepan/pot to fit beautifully into both modern and natural kitchens. Two wide handles with a Soft Touch surface in a wood-effect finish are comfortable to hold and allow safe handling, even when the saucepan is full, on all types of cookers, including induction.

Tips and advice

For first use, we recommend lightly wiping the inside of the saucepan with oil to activate the non-stick layer and extend its service life. It is better to cook at a medium to lower setting – the thick-walled aluminium body conducts heat very well, so there is no need to heat the hob unnecessarily. To preserve the smooth ceramic surface, use wooden or silicone utensils.  After cooking, you can safely wash it in the dishwasher , although occasional gentle hand washing with a soft sponge and mild detergent is recommended – this will preserve its natural shine, smoothness and perfect appearance. Aggressive scouring pads and abrasive products may unnecessarily scratch the surface.

The glass lid with a metal rim seals well, but thanks to the small opening for releasing excess steam it helps prevent boiling over, facilitates even simmering and allows you to keep cooking under control without constantly lifting the lid. The practical metal rim helps prevent breakage of the lid if it falls or is gently knocked during cooking or washing.
