Product detailed description

The high-quality Pyrex Glide baking tray 38 × 25 cm made of durable carbon steel is a great aid for every home baking session. Its shaped base ensures even heat circulation, so the dough bakes beautifully golden across the entire surface – without burnt edges or an uncooked centre. The PFAS-free non-stick coating allows baked goods to be removed easily and makes cleaning after baking simple. Thanks to the wider edges , the tray is easy to handle whether you are placing it in the oven or removing it while hot.

Ideal for Christmas cookies, cakes, Linzer cookies, puff pastry, pizza or small biscuits , when a large baking surface and confidence in an even result are useful.

TIPS AND BENEFITS

The tray is resistant to temperatures up to 230°C; to preserve its quality, we recommend hand washing and careful drying. Do not use metal utensils, which could damage the surface. A thin layer of fat or baking paper will help keep the tray in its best condition for many years.
Thanks to its elaborate shaping and high-quality workmanship, the Pyrex Glide will become a reliable choice for every baking session – from a weekend fruit cake to a Christmas baking marathon.

The raised parts on the base of the tray are not merely a design element – they help with better air circulation and more even baking of the dough. At the same time, they reinforce the base of the tray, so it does not deform during baking and retains its shape for longer.

The PFAS-free non-stick coating is a modern and safer alternative to Teflon – it contains no fluorinated substances, making it gentler on health and the environment, while remaining durable and easy to clean.

Wash before first use. Avoid abrasive cleaning agents. Washing under abnormal conditions, such as high water temperature and detergent dosage, may damage the non-stick coating. If food is burnt or stuck on, we recommend soaking the cooled cookware in soap and water.

Never use directly on a heat source such as a gas burner, electric hob, glass-ceramic hob or grill.

During cooking and baking, it is better to use gentle cooking utensils made of wood, silicone or melamine. This will prevent unnecessary scratching and extend the service life.

For home baking, you will certainly appreciate the wide range of baking aids. The clearly arranged baking utensils, bowls of various sizes and cookie cutters in all different shapes and sizes.

The complete range of baking trays offers moulds with non-stick coating, as well as glass and silicone moulds in various sizes. When handling hot baking dishes, we recommend using kitchen oven gloves , which protect your hands from high temperatures.

If you want to enjoy even better baking, be sure to try our baking dishes with non-stick coating or practical baking dishes with lids , which allow food to be stored immediately after baking. For baking enthusiasts, we also offer a wide range of baking moulds , which make it easier to prepare sweet and savoury dishes.

Pyrex – from an American idea to a French kitchen icon

The Pyrex® brand was founded in 1915 in the USA, when Bessie and Jessie Littleton, with the help of NONEX glass from Corning, laid the foundation for the first exceptionally durable glass baking dish. A few years later, the Pyrex story moved to Europe: from 1922 borosilicate glass began to be produced in France and in 1970 main production moved to the plant in Châteauroux , where Pyrex has been shaped, pressed and manufactured to this day — it is home to a huge furnace with an area of almost 100 m² that processes over 150 tonnes of raw materials daily. Pyrex can therefore rightfully rely on the designation Made in France and the quality associated with it

Thanks to continuous innovation, Pyrex glass products today withstand extreme temperatures from –40 °C to +350 °C and thermal shocks of up to 240 °C (EN 1183). The brand has also expanded its range beyond iconic glass — since 2004, it has also included metal and ceramic cookware, frying pans and saucepans. At its core, however, the essential qualities remain: durable, hygienic and taste-neutral materials that make cooking and serving easier across generations.
