Product detailed description

The set of two round Pyrex baking dishes is a great choice for preparing a homemade pie or cake. A taller cake dish or a shallow pie dish? With a set of 2 round glass dishes with diameters of 26cm and 28 cm, you do not have to choose. In fact, you can use them to satisfy your cravings for both sweet and savoury dishes. An ideal duo for preparing a sun-kissed tomato tatin, a seasonal fruit pie or many other creative recipes at the same time. TIPS AND BENEFITS

The benefits of Pyrex® borosilicate glass are outstanding. It withstands extreme temperatures from -40°C to +350°C. It is highly resistant to thermal shocks of up to 220°C (EN 1183): it can be moved from a freezer at -20°C to an oven at 220°C. The hygienic BPA-free material does not retain stains or odours. Scratch-resistant

Wash before first use. Avoid abrasive cleaning products. Washing dishes under abnormal conditions, such as high water temperature and excessive detergent dosage, may damage the glass. In the event of burnt-on or stuck food, we recommend soaking the dish in soap and water after it has cooled.

Never use directly on a heat source such as a gas burner, electric hob, ceramic hob or grill.

During cooking and baking, it is better to use gentle cooking utensils made of wood, silicone or melamine. This will prevent unnecessary scratching and extend the product's service life.

For home baking, you will certainly appreciate the wide range of baking aids. Clearly arranged baking utensils, bowls of various sizes and cutters in all different shapes and sizes.

When handling hot baking dishes, we recommend using oven mitts , which protect your hands from high temperatures.

If you want to enjoy even better baking, be sure to try our baking dishes with non-stick coating or practical baking dishes with lids , which allow food to be stored immediately after baking. For baking enthusiasts, we also offer a wide range of baking dishes , which make it easier to prepare sweet and savoury dishes.

If you prefer classical plastic boxes for short- and long-term storage, be sure to take a look at the excellent LocknLock collection. No one makes food containers and boxes in various shapes and sizes better. TOP quality at low prices

Pyrex – from an American idea to a French kitchen icon

The Pyrex® brand was established in 1915 in the USA, when Bessie and Jessie Littleton, with the help of NONEX glass from Corning, laid the foundation for the first exceptionally durable glass baking dish. A few years later, the Pyrex story moved to Europe: from 1922 borosilicate glass began to be produced in France and in 1970 main production moved to the plant in Châteauroux , where Pyrex has been formed, pressed and manufactured to this day — this is where a huge furnace with an area of almost 100 m² stands and processes over 150 tonnes of raw materials daily. Pyrex therefore rightly relies on the label Made in France and the quality associated with it

Thanks to continuous innovation, Pyrex glass products today withstand extreme temperatures from –40 °C to +350 °C and thermal shocks of up to 240 °C (EN 1183). The brand has also expanded its range beyond iconic glass — since 2004, it has also included metal and ceramic cookware, pans and saucepans. At its core, however, the essential qualities remain: durable, hygienic and taste-neutral materials that make cooking and serving easier across generations.
