Code: 913S567/7645Product detailed description
Set of two rectangular containers Pyrex Cook & Store 1.2 l and 2.5 l with practical lids is an excellent choice for everyday preparation and storage of smaller portions. Take your preserving and storage processes to a new level with this set of Pyrex® borosilicate glass containers for meat and fish. The dish with the red lid, intended for tasty meat , and the one with the blue lid, specially designed for seafood delicacies, make it easy to identify the contents directly in the refrigerator or freezer. This is a good way to preserve food better, maintain freshness and avoid missing the use-by date. You can use the dishes for baking, oven cooking and reheating in the microwave, and after cooling, also for storage in the freezer. Transparent borosilicate glass highlights the colours and texture of the food, while the lid keeps it fresh for longer – an ideal aid for quick dinners and organising your everyday kitchen.
Since 1922, Pyrex® borosilicate glass has built an excellent reputation thanks to its unrivalled resistance to extreme temperatures from -40°C to +350°C , as well as thermal shocks of up to 220°C . It is also recognised for its quality, is highly scratch-resistant and does not retain stains or odours. It is, of course, hygienic and BPA-free

TIPS AND BENEFITS
The benefits of Pyrex® borosilicate glass are outstanding. It withstands extreme temperatures from -40°C to +350°C. It is highly resistant to thermal shocks of up to 220°C (EN 1183): it can be moved from a freezer at -20°C into an oven at 220°C. The hygienic BPA-free material does not retain stains or odours. Scratch-resistant
Wash before first use. Avoid abrasive cleaning products. Washing dishes under abnormal conditions, such as high water temperature and detergent dosage, may damage the glass. In the event of burnt-on or stuck food, we recommend soaking the cooled dish in soapy water.
Never use directly on a heat source such as a gas burner, electric hob, ceramic hob or grill.
During cooking and baking, it is better to use gentle cooking utensils made of wood, silicone or melamine. This will prevent unnecessary scratching and extend the product life.
When baking at home, you will certainly appreciate the wide range of baking aids. A clearly arranged selection of baking utensils, bowls of various sizes and cookie cutters in all shapes and sizes.
When handling hot baking dishes, we recommend using oven mitts , which protect your hands from high temperatures.
If you want to enjoy even better baking, be sure to try our baking dishes with non-stick surfaces or practical baking dishes with lids , which allow food to be stored immediately after baking. For baking enthusiasts, we also offer a wide range of baking tins , which make it easier to prepare sweet and savoury dishes.
If you preferclassic plastic containers for short- and long-term storage, be sure to look at the excellent LocknLock collection. Nobody makes food containers and boxes in different shapes and sizes better. TOP quality at low prices
Pyrex – from an American idea to a French kitchen icon
The Pyrex® brand was founded in 1915 in the USA, when Bessie and Jessie Littleton, with the help of NONEX glass from Corning, laid the foundations for the first exceptionally durable glass baking dish. A few years later, the Pyrex story moved to Europe: borosilicate glass began to be produced in France from 1922 and in 1970 main production moved to the plant in Châteauroux , where Pyrex is still formed, pressed and manufactured today — the site has a huge furnace with an area of almost 100 m² and processes more than 150 tonnes of raw materials daily. Pyrex therefore rightly builds on the designation Made in France and the quality associated with it
Thanks to continuous innovation, Pyrex glass products today withstand extreme temperatures from –40 °C to +350 °C and thermal shocks of up to 240 °C (EN 1183). The brand has also expanded its range beyond iconic glass — since 2004, it has also included metal and ceramic cookware, pans and saucepans. At its core, however, the essentials remain: durable, hygienic and taste-neutral materials that make cooking and serving easier across generations.
