Tips and advice

The name “dessert” certainly does not mean that the plate has to wait for a Sunday dessert. The diameter of 20 cm is very practical for everyday breakfast – a croissant, toast, bread with spread, eggs, fruit or a smaller open-faced portion will fit comfortably on it.

Use it for cakes, sandwiches, canapés, Christmas cookies or small savoury snackswhen entertaining guests. The smaller plate does not take up as much space on the table and is also useful during informal gatherings with friends.

The pure white surface is an ideal basis for attractive serving. Chocolate cake, fruit pie, cheesecake, strawberries or colourful canapés stand out beautifully on it. And because ELBA has no decoration, you can change the table’s appearance for each occasion simply with placemats, napkins and other accessories.

For coordinated dining, combine it with the ELBA dinner and deep plates. The advantage of individually sold pieces is the option to assemble your own set – for example, six dinner and dessert plates but only four deep plates if you do not make soup as often at home.

If you like the lightweight, practical and elegant appearance of this crockery, also take a look at other opal-glass plates. You can choose dinner, deep and dessert plates and combine individual sizes and decorations according to your needs. You will find an even wider selection in the complete range of plates , where you can choose from various materials, shapes, colours and sizes for everyday family dining and more festive occasions.

The right drinkware also belongs on a nicely set table. In the glasses category, you will find glasses for water, lemonade, wine and other popular drinks, while mugs complement breakfast and afternoon dining with coffee, tea or cocoa. The overall appearance of the table can easily be changed with placemats , which also help protect its surface and create an attractive base for plates, glasses and cutlery.

At a family lunch, when entertaining guests or celebrating, products for serving will also come in useful – bowls, trays, platters and other crockery for bringing the main course, side dishes, salads, fruit, desserts and small snacks to the table. Finally, choose suitable cutlery , which will complete the entire dinnerware set both practically and visually. This makes it easy to create tableware to suit your taste, from the plate to the last teaspoon. 🍽️
